Congratulations to Myself

Looks like everything is going to work out just fine. Now all I need is some content and we're in business. This will probably take a few days to get this ready for a proper launch.

For those still reading in anticipation of a hint about who I am and what this blog is about, I suppose I had better giving you something before you go back to youtube to look for kitten videos.

Music is certainly going to be a big focus. I like to buy cheap old records and try to find something note worthy about them. Generally speaking, the songs posted here are going to be ones I like listening to plain and simple; and if there is a good story about the artist or some background info I'll share that to. But don't expect anything scholarly. In fact I might publish outright lies if that would give me a laugh at your expense.

I'm an English major so I'm also going to be discussing the books I read. Hold on, don't go anywhere. I can tell that everyone is probably thinking "awww come on man, books? The graphics suck." Well listen up babies, reading a book is like watching a Discovery Channel special about your favourite things and doing push-ups -with your mind- during the commercials.

Alright here we go. Everything needs to start somewhere.

I'm going to test things out and try to post a link to a song. Grover Washington Jr's cover of Trouble Man just happened to be the soundtrack to the creation of this blog, and making my choice for a test subject easy.
